There's no such thing as love, it goes
as fast as a rapid flows.
There's no such thing as friends, they go
as fast as the rapids flow.
There's no such thing as a promise kept, it will go
as fast as a rapid will flow.
There's no way to change the way things will go
just as you can't change the way the rapids flow.
