• I’m seeing through rose colored glasses
As the world grows wild flowers
And faeries come up and sprinkle their magic dust on us
Whispers of words spell out in front of our eyes
Our hips sway to a music not heard
Vines of roses grow around this castle we call home
Gold instead of blood flows through our veins
Our hair, like the ocean, it has waves upon waves and never stops in this wind
The wind though smells like clean cologne and pretty perfume
Long stabs of silver collect themselves and become intertwined hands
Clouds lift us to dance slow songs in the sky
We twirl around watching the people go by
    Nothing could harm us here
    We are together now dear
    Something catches the light
And the angels’ wing feathers float to make shoes
And we drift back to the marble flooring
    But nothing has changed
    No, we’re still the same
