-
Gray clouds above,
White snow falls.
Oh wintery love,
the north wind calls.
Trees bare of leaves,
receive delicate flakes.
Come down a gentle breeze,
from over the frozen lakes.
In the air sets a chill,
As the clouds fill the sky.
No longer the air is still,
As the wind begins to fly.
Across the field of white,
Trees sway in a trance.
The wind continues flight,
Causing branches to dance.
I hold out my hand,
Catching flakes of snow.
Oh sweet Winter Land,
May your cold tides flow!
