Once upon a dying December
The rushing wind
My frostbitten hands
The covered greens
I can barely stand
This December day
so cold and lonely
The only thing
keeping me going
is the fire burning in my heart
now, as a tiny flame
a burning start
I'd go anywhere
to feed the flames
to find where you were
to hear you call my name
but the fires dying down
like the wind's roar
i dont like to see it go
but now im sore
sinking down into the snow
my soft pillow bed
encased in ice forever
but never really dead
always burning in your heart
the fire that found its start
not such a long time ago
in my December dreams
covered in this dreadful snow.

- This one is my favorite. Lol. Legitimately. The covered greens, I can barely stand. Best line.

- "Covered in this dreadful snow.." I like that. It speaks to me. Refine these lyrics, add a bit of old english and you have a Death/Doom song.
