To understand the choices I must make,
To find a way to tell the dark from light
And finally know what I did was right;
All of life is made of actions fake
That pull me down until I fully break,
But I would wish that I could stand and fight,
If only all the world was black and white.
The shadows are the choices I must take.
When looking back, one sees where one did wrong;
The pain that one avoided all along.
Effects that come from choices last quite long.
In anything we do we go astray,
In truth we always seem to lose our way;
This from the choices we must make each day.

- Very well written - keep it up! I agree with Plume; the word "choices" is over-used, but other than that it is awesome. Very nice work, and I hope you continue to produce such excellent examples of extraordinary poetry. (That's a HUGE compliment coming from me; takes a lot to impress me.)

- If you couldn't tell, I am a fan of well structured poetry. Nice work with the sonnet - this is probably the toughest type of poem to write because the structure is so demanding. I think you over use the word "choices" a little and your message isn't 100% clear, but I like it. Great work!
