• Gluttony

    A table full
    Drinks as many as 100,
    Deserts of all sizes,
    Appetizers numerous
    And main courses
    All the more;

    All scattered
    On a table that could fit
    More then 900 guests;

    But where?
    Where are the chairs?
    Where are the plates?
    Where are the spoons?
    Where are the knives?
    Where are the forks?

    There’s only 1 set.
    ,,More…”
    He speaks after finishing his drink
    ,,I said more, it’s not enough!”
    A shaking person,
    All skin and bones,
    Looks up from down
    At the youth
    That sits alone
    At the massive table.

    He looks up fearfully
    And in silent voice asks:
    ,,How much more
    Will it take to appease
    your hunger?”

    Black wings dirty of crumbs,
    Moved slightly
    at the question,
    Honey like eyes,
    Stared cold down:
    ,,Till I forget…
    Or till I don’t feel it..
    Till this void vanishes.
    NOW GO AND BRING MORE!”
