Through waves of gray, the sea gives way
the air of dismay fills our souls today,
Too much and too long we tread
exasperation imminent, only dread
Conspires to fray the little thread
that thread of civility will fall
No pain too vast or small, submerges all.
Engulfed and inflamed with promises of change
the degradation of conciliation now
Entitled, all enthralled, our rights seem deranged,
the dedaration of humiliation now.
Spires carry on with torches in hand,
our hours devour our sanity today
In waves of gray, and entrails of day
the red set meets the vermilion stains.

- Description: When I was trying to be a Navy SEAL and I had my heart attack. I was in what they call the "Separations" devision, because the military had "irreconcilable differences" with my bodies choice to stop working. lol It was a mad house there, but it gave me inspiration. My wife gave me hope when I thought it was hopeless, but to keep the other pains at bay, I wrote.
