Feeling safe in your arms

All my problems melt away

And I begin to wonder

What it would be like

If you chose not to stay

If you choose to leave me

The way you do everyday

This short embrace

It's tight, sharp grasp

Though it shoots pain

Through every nerve in my body

I still wish it to NEVER end

The pain will seem to fade

But the feeling never will

Because you're here with me

But it you choose to leave

I don't know

What I would do

I wish you could see through my friendliness

And see how I truly feel

Because, not far from the surface

I really like you
