"Take It Or Leave It"

At times I can be sweet and gentle
Just don't piss me off, then I'll be hard to handle
Sensitive, too quickly taking things to heart
Depressingly I sit alone crying in te dark
Strong when I want something, I get it
But very shy to ask for it, so I just leave it.
Beautiful inside and out, not a lot of people see this
And feel ugly when I hear them diss
Cool, calm, and collected almost everyday
Just add sugar and I'll make your day
Always smiling, being happy, and carefree
Stay out of my way or I'll knock out your knees
Grumpy and irritated I can be. I'm sorries
But I'll get over it, just wait with no worries
Big hug and a kiss on the cheek
Is all I want and sometimes need
This is me you see and have read
Only one thing missing has yet to be said
Love, loving, and lovable am I, do you see it?
Now I ask, do you take it or leave it?

Its a very nice poem, especially when it's written with feelings and I can relate on it, just like any other people trying to change to fit in then realizing that it's just not you. ^_^

I like the message that you have there, makes a person reflect upon themselves. The rhyming isn't forced and there isn't any iambic sequence to it, which you really need with an ABAB rhyme scheme...
The idea is good, the execution could be improved
