Poem: Speak your mind
By: Kit Katy
My eyes watch your limber tongue,
As you stir away from pressured tones,
You push back your rejected thoughts,
Thinking that they will remain lost
When I reach out to enclose your palm,
Your expression is glued to glum,
Yet I will encourage you,
For no thought should be left alone
No breath is wasted,
So go ahead and speak your head,
There’s nothing wrong in sharing,
But there is wrong in keeping sealed
Someone will lend their ears,
Go on and convey your fears,
Nothing can be fixed,
If you are locked within your soul

Description:
Forever I've had the trouble of telling people my worries. For some stupid reason, I believed that my thoughts would be rejected or shut down by someone else's opinions. Slowly, I have learned to open up to people.
The reason I created this poem is to help others open-up, just like me. - Date: 04/05/2009
