Shades of gray exist
in a world of black and white
there is no wrong
there is no right

there is only
the darkness of the night
the brightness of the light
and the shadows of twilight

there is only
a double-edged mirror
showing neither right nor wrong
but in its depths does reflect
the shattered truth of the night

shattered mirror
shattered truth
shatttered love
a shattered youth
