You're an artist.
You wrap your tongue around words so smoothly,
And you capture me with the very way you speak such lies.
And yet...
You're an animal.
The way you used and controlled me,
And you put such pretty pictures in my head.
Liar...
But you've reformed I hear.
With the accepting of your apology,
You think I'd have you back?
And yet...
Must you look at me like that?
Speak, walk, and smile at me like that?
As a victim of you former self, I shudder.
And yet despite the fact I played with fire,
I'm tempted by the flame.
To burn myself again.

Description:
It's about someone I trusted, who ended up hurting me. It was my own fault, and we're friends now. But I guess I was hurting a little when I wrote it. This was BEFORE I figured out how to feel about him or how to forgive him.
So I hope you like it.
