• It saddens me to say, that after all these years,

the only thing that came of it was blood, sweat, and tears.

No spoils for your efforts even though you did your best.

No reward for your duties, even through the tests.

It saddens me to say, that even though you tried.

Every person here hates your aging hide.

Even though, you were so nice, you have grown so old.

There’s none here to visit you, your children have grown cold.

It saddens me to say, that after all your work,

Your daughter has become a witch and your son, a jerk.

I know you were a mother that raised your children well.

But even mothers have no say of who’s in Heaven nor Hell.

It saddens me to say, that through your valiant deeds,

Your husband has deserted you, your garden grows tall weeds.

Even through your wisdom, your heart they give and take.

Even though you beg for them to, “Just give me a break.”

It saddens me to say, there’s just one thing to do.

You must show the world of how much they will all miss you.

You must take you life, it is the only way.

For nobody even cares for you at least not on today….

It saddens me to say, that Mrs. Marry Roe,

Has killed herself this morning, I just thought you should know.

Her son is coming home, her daughters on the way.

The world has come to visit her, on her dyeing day,

They only thing that puzzles me, is why not yesterday?
