The chaos around me ensues
The class transforms
Into a Los Vegas casino
Go Fish beside me
Poker across the room
I sit alone
Separate from the crowd
Away from all the people
If only we were together
I might not be this way
I miss him
I love him
We are alone together
yet separated
Despite my metaphors,
I still sit alone

Yes, I agree, there's something missing, but besides that, it was a good poem, and emotional, too.
