Without End

5 children dead
IED
fingers pointing
playing, not me - not me

parentless children
in a cluster bomb's wake
we put AK's in their hands
what sort of men will that make

red sand in your shoes
blood on your hands
and children crying and cursing you
knowing you don't understand

RPG's whistle
and they scream their disgust
in their wake a whisper
of Jihad follows us

Building our future
on the dead piled high
until bones fill the ocean
and blood fills the sky.

War upon War
until a thousand tomorrows
we teach the children of today
to bring tomorrow's sorrows



A few notes for those who don't recognize these terms.
IED - Improvised Explosive Device
AK - type of rifle
RPG - Rocket Propelled Grenade
Jihad - An Arabic word basically meaning a holy war against evil/infidels. Most of the Muslims I know say that they tend to think of Jihad as a war to conquer our own personal demons but others take it differently.

I put some notes in for the things I thought you might not have recognized the abbreviations for. If there are any other terms that anyone doesn't understand I don't mind explaining them. I know us military types tend to have our own lingo on stuff.
