  Every time I look at you, my heart skips a beat.
  I wonder if you know, my love, that my heart is at your feet.
  I leave it there for you to do
  Whatever that you wish.
  You can take my heart and love me,
  Or just leave me in this bliss.

I thought the first time that I looked at you:
Surely your beauty cannot truly be.
'Tis only the angels in heaven who
Shine with a light only the sad can see.
I once was scared and lost within my soul,
And even when the world saw how I cried,
Yours was the only hand I had to hold.
Inside your arms became my place to hide.
You picked me up when I needed an aid,
And helped me overcome it all and grow.
My love, because of you I did not fade.
In life the only thing is sure I know:
Through ev'ry day and all our little wars,
My heart will always be-forever yours.
