• I’m a Shadow


    Lost in this world pushed away by all
    My crying voice is heard less than a bird’s call
    Who are you to reject me and leave in this shadow of life?
    For no reason you hate me and attack me out of strife

    You look at me as if I was an insect inferior to you in every way
    You fear me, attack me and all I can do is pray
    Praise the lord that put me in a world to be pushed aside
    To be constantly told that my life is meaningless because of a race that I can’t hide

    These endless days make death seem pleasant
    All my hopes and dreams shattered in this hateful place called present
    May God save me from this prejudice earthly fight
    For I am different like the morning to the night

    I am a shadow in this endless night
    Cursed forever by the eternal light
