The gospel Truth 3.30.09
I've been aching
From the mangling
Of my sails
In the wind
Of the turpentine, waves
Crashing, bashing
Into the hull of my ship.
The endless spray of sea salt
The rocking, lilting, tilting
Of my hull coming in--
I'm beached.
My load is full of squawks of candor
The stolen children
Amidst the sea spray, play
And I'm smitten
With an intermittent
Starry gaze.
It's the gospel truth, they say.
