I've wondered, no pondered about it
The conception of the moon
The arrangement of the stars
Have you? Do you think about as you sleep
Almost like a goddess of a most enchanted reality?
Or are you too lost in the void of screaming maggots?
Wake up, Aurora. I want you to touch the sky with your hands.
Make the clouds dissipate through the canvas; claim your art.
I want you to reach and feel for the sun then crush it.
So a new day never rises again.
So I'm trapped in this world of eternal night by you, my Sleeping Beauty.
The inspiration of aesthetic wisdom.
Aurora, how I've dreamed of you to open your eyes.
How I wrote in the walls with my nails that I can release your inbred ennui.
The sun's rising again.
It's dwindling. We're dwindling.
And you're still in slumber.

- Title: Dwindling Slumber....
- Artist: Aeolus_Xthra
- Description: A poem I wrote for a friend of mine whom I started to have feelings for a long time ago, but never really acted on those emotions. Regretful? Somewhat but complacent.
