My Heart Shatters,
Breaks into a state of oblivion,
When those I love,
Choose to leave me aside.
It breaks into a state of oblivion,
Due to harshness I receive,
From those who choose to leave me aside,
And suffer for my wronging.
Due to this harshness I receive,
I am left to burn to ashes,
And suffer for my wronging,
With words that scar me.
I am left to burn to ashes,
As people hold me responsible,
And say words that will scar me,
My heart shatters.
- Title: My Heart Shatters
- Artist: puhlayed
- Description: This Poem's structure is a "Pantoum." It is supposed to sound repeatative b/c the 2nd and 4th line in the 1st stanza is the 1st and 3rd line in the second stanza. and so on and so forth throughout the poem. Also the first line in the first stanza is the last line in the last stanza. Bit of a revision in the lines that are copied, didn't think it was so great but my Poetry Teacher did. :] Only took me about 2-3 minutes.
