• Remember when we would play in the playground?
On the swings, swinging so high it was as if we were flying,
Warm sand squishing between our toes.
Remember when our sleepovers never ended?
Creating fridge worthy masterpeices well into the morning,
Hidden away in a pillowfort, invisible to adult eyes.
Remeber when you fell and broke your arm?
At the hospital with all those dreadful tests,
Finding out you had terminal cancer.
Remember when you left without a trace, deep in your sleep?
    I remember.
When we meet up again, will you?
