I.
Crossing your own Threshold
Is an act of Destruction: a dismissal
Of your boundaries, securities & sureties
Your preconceived notions & the voices in your head.
A willingness to be unmade & made again
Amnesia undertaken voluntarily
Work in Progress
Clearing the corpses . . . gaping emptiness
The air smells Ozone sharp
Identity Crisis
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHO I AM?
II.
Creation fills the void
(Crisis averted, the tide has been turned.)
The Paths before your feet . . . vivid sensation.
Churning mind, “THIS, you declare
THIS HAS MEANING,” you scream it just to make it true
Moments condensing into lyrics
Erecting hovels, spires, mountains of poetry
Of realization, of journeys, of destinations
Of Disillusionment & Wonder, doubt & awe
III.
The following is a trial of Remembrance
Discarding what was, Salvaging what should be
Retaining the resounding moments . . . .
. . Making sense of the echoes
Adjusting and dusting off your sense of self
Reforging perceptions
Each venture is to be undertaken with caution
They force growth & render subtle ghosts
But to shy from the journey . . .
Is to reject change, & make a ghost yourself.

- Title: A Journey
- Artist: Intrepid Indigo
- Description: Hi folks, this one is relatively new . . . I'm not really sure how I like it yet so I opted to put it to a vote, the poem is less ordered than the ones I generally write and is unrefined as it is a first draft. Enjoy . . . or not.
