• The rain falls harder
    Upon my skin
    No umbrella to cover
    I'm being showered with sin
    For I have done wrong
    One too many times
    I will never know
    How much it costs
    To see my sin
    Where you are
    The deadliest sin
That made me feel this way
    Was parting with you
    Moving our separate ways
I move slowly down the path
    My sins coming back
    Each hitting my skin
Leaving a mark on my back

    To see my sin
    Upon your face
    I feel like dying
    To get away
    But running away
Hits me the hardest of all
    I fall on the ground
By the impact of it all
    The nightmares
    The sins
    The same old story
They are no longer different in my eyes
    For a nightmare can happen
    Day or night
    But a sin happens everyday
    I feel like joining you
    And running to heaven
    To live happily and peacefully
For we will all be accepted there
When I'm with you I literally have run out of air

I kneel to where you lay
    Upon your grave
    Flowers lay
    And so do my tears
    I've cried many times
With no passerby's to see me
    I imagine your face
    Etched upon your grave
But it only makes me sadder
    I need you
    The authentic you
Because my hearts ripped in two
    Forever stay by my side
    Forever day and night
Because I can't live another day without you.

    The rain continues to fall
    So heavily
    Help me clear my name
    I'll do many good deeds
    For you and for me
    To stop the rain
    And clear away the hurt
Thats been washed up on shore
    To wash it away
    And never see it
    Evermore.
