Nine hundred ninety nine cranes laying on the floor
One left, half finished in your hands
If you had lived what would you have wished have wished for?
Would you have wished to be reborn in another time
Where you could have finished all one thousand cranes?
You never finished so I folded the last for you
And I wished that wish for you
I wish that you had lived so that you could have seen today
Because even though you're gone the dawn still awakes
And the world was gently crying for you.
Heh, sorry to get your hopes up for a longer song. I dont write long songs. Heck, I didnt even know the teacher who this was written about. But I do know we have those 999 cranes in the school office.

- Title: Cranes
- Artist: KuraNingyou
- Description: I was just thinking about some of my junior high's folklore as my inspiration for this. A teacher was in the hospital for something (can't remember, but it says it on a plaque in the cafeteria), and she was folding a thousand cranes so she could wish that she would get better. You know, fold a thousand cranes and get a wish. She never finished though, and I (personally) think this would be good for the guitar.
