Numb from the pain of the day
I lay on my bed and stare at the ceiling
The silence in my mind is welcoming me into its embrace

The Mother brings me visions –
Lives long since past
I learn from them as much as I can

And in this silence – I search for me
And all the things that come with it
I must have patience during this test

The silence doesn’t last very long
I am needed where noise rules
Day and night you can never find silence – you must create it for yourself
