If I could sing ten-thousand songs
I would to win your heart
If I could write ten-thousand books
I would so we'd not part.
To hold you in my arms again
To say that I love you
To pull you close, never let go
Is something I pursue.
That's not to say I wouldn't kill
To meet your lips with mine
To say again my thoughts of you
At last to speak my mind.
My heaven was there by your side
Forever it will be
I'll not wait to be there with you
And be there you with me.
To say the least I am amazed
So much that I am blind
Now I see you in everything
Only you my thoughts find.
I can't say more for I am lost
In all my thoughts of you
I wish you knew just how I loved
Everything that you do.
Goodbye, I say, for now I know
That you I don't deserve
Not your love, lips or hand but still,
I will my love preserve.

- Title: Ten-Thousand Songs
- Artist: -Monsieur-Panda-Sama-
- Description: I wrote this shortly after being separated from the girl I cared about most. We both agreed that we wouldn't let it tear us apart, and that's what led to this poem.
