"Free Me"
. . . leave me sweet sanity
like bad tastes of vinegar
forever suspend me on
barbed wired tentacles
wash away the grime
that clings to the lost
child of fear and anger
pour forth my love as
drops of morphine fall
into the IV that leaves me
leads me into foggy
dreams of lost time
and sweet sanity euthanized . . .

yay! I'm soo happy to meet another writer who doesn't totally suck!
so- critiques,
I LOVE: 'lost child of fear and anger.' as well as 'bad tastes of vinegar'
I kind of wish you hadn't used the word 'euthanized' or the 'barbed wire' imagery. It comes across as a bit Emo. What I like, and what could set this poem apart is the idea of being 'doped'. the way you might chose to live in this fuzzy, morphine induced version of reality rather than be faced with the sharp and exact reality of life.4/5 - Report As Spam

- This poem means many things to me some to which I can really relate to in life. I would rather say what it means to me in a message if that is ok.
