• "Silver white glistens in the still night,
Evergreen stands tall in its frosty might,
Branches creak with their heavy white boughs,
A warm tinkle of laughter is heard and then grows.

A warm golden light envelopes a home,
Lights in the yard let you know you're not alone,
Soft little voices echo with delight,
They know somethings coming on this very special night.

The ornaments twinkle on their decadent tree,
The fire a dull glow just enough to warm thee,
The presents are stacked in neat little rows,
Their packages varied in colors and bows.

A shadowy figure in the moon goes by,
A joyous old chuckle fills the still moonlit sky,
A soft landing thud and the hooves lightly beat
A rosy cheeked man, with his pack at his feet..

A smile and a twinkle and away he goes,
All with a twitch from his rosy red nose,

Presents are settled beneath the pine tree,
Stockings are filled with lots of good things,
    The home now seems warmer
    Though there isn't any light

    Santa's left his mark,
    On this Silvery Christmas night..."
