• Fear rapped her hands around my throut,
    I struggled to breathe freely.
She was both hot and cold,
And I shivered and sweated in her presence.

The more I saw the more she grasped,
And I couldn't move her away.
She fed and fed on my breath and sweat,
But yet it didn't satisfy her hunger.

I shut my eyes and pleeded,
    She losened her grip.
She had a heart of stone,
But it was a heart all the same.

    Then a comforting voice came,
    "Come on, jump!"
I looked back down and told myself,
    "Jump or she'll be back."
