White Christmas
A frozen storm during the night
A crystalline sheet, glittering in the moonlight
Then slowly comes the wondrous dawn
Sun and joy, it will spawn
Children frolic in the morning
Waking up as the day is dawning
Snow is filled with memories of December
Playful joy is all you remember
Children come out with brand new toys
Mothers and fathers and girls and boys
The snow makes a crunching sound
As people walk across the ground
Such times are filled with so much fun
Sadness and despair, there are none
No two snowflakes are the same
Just like each one has a name
It's hard to believe that such a wonder
Is truly born in cold, cloud and thunder
But really, truthfully, it's okay
Only that Christmas is full of children's play
A white Christmas is a gift that arrives bit by bit
The important thing is to thank God for it.
