A poem i wrote, hoping to patch things up with a friend.
Upon the facts, it 'twas me
That ought to be the most sorry
Though you may think and not forgive
I wish you luck as long as you live
I miss you very dearly so
Of our friendship of so long ago
And bereaved so deeply of my sin
If you would be willing to be friends again.
I truly do apologize
Towards the beauty set before my eyes
Of my past actions which of i am so damned ashamed
To which i swear that i have tamed
But fear not and say the word
If you ask i begone with nothing more heard
I'm just hoping your well in this day and age
And that dark feeling won't lead you astray
I remember of what you told me then
Of the demons that lay inside your head
I suppose i'm a b*****d for being no better
To which is why i write this letter
I do not ask a second chance
I do not expect to change your stance
Mearly to tell that my thoughts never changed
And to hope the wounds were simply faint
I'm sorry if i bore you now
So i will write no more
A kiss under the mistletoe
As the new year comes, its up to you if you'll close the door.

Description:
Just a poem i wrote in an effort to hopefully try an reconnect with an old friend i got into an argument with. Not sure whether it will do the trick but I'm hoping it will at least break the ice.
I admit, i wrote this rather quickly. . . so I'm sure there will be grammatical errors and the like. Feel free to point them out to me. :D - Date: 12/27/2009
