In sleep comes dreams of his innocent smile.
In waking comes sorrow I'll never see it again.
In moments of remembrance comes wishes he'll be back in a while.
In moments of clarity comes pain.
I hope you're watching me tonight,
I hope you're happy.
I hope one day I'll be alright.
I hope one day I'll no longer have to fight.
I hope one day the tears will stop.

- Title: His Innocent Smile
- Artist: In Search of that Booty
- Description: This is dedicated to my cousin Brandon. He was three years old when he died last year. My aunt is on trial since his injuries came from blunt force trauma and she was the only one around when he stopped breathing. She took him to the hospital and he died on the operating table from internal injuries. I still sometimes think I'll go to my uncle's house and he'll be there, running around, calling me Ricky, jumping off chairs.

- I like the last three lines. Very emotional with nice closure. I'm sorry about your cousin.
