Books:
Books are an escape,
Sanctuaries of the mind,
Read to discover.

Being lost is fine,
so long as it is in books
read and wonder more

Become lost in books
it is an adventure, yes
hearing the words flow.

Easy:
Haikus are easy,
But, sometimes they don't make sense,
Refridgerator

English Class:
What are you writing?
Something for my English Class
Haiku? Seemed easy

Sparta:
Fathers and Sons fight,
facing the might of Persia
The Phalanx can't fall

Going off to war?
just taking a little walk,
300 in tow

300 fighting
All with sons to carry names
fighting to the end.

A messenger's fear,
"Blasphemy and madness!", no,
This is Spartas' law

Victory in death,
A Spartan's greatest honor,
Victory in death.

Marching off to die,
Sons of Sparta carry on,
marching just the same.

3 to 1 odds, feh.
Ten Thousand Spartans ready
Xerxes' hordes will fall
