• : Some where a girl sits alone in a coffee shop
Thinking of her favorite song by her favorite band
She just scribbled her favorite verse on the side walk
    Maybe someone will read them
Maybe they’ll understand how it feels
To be alone every second of their lives

Five hundred miles away in a giant record store
An angry little boy standing his giant mob
As they sing a forgotten song of anarchy
Wondering if he’s the only one who remembers what that use to mean
Or if his voice is even herd in the masses of angry teens with social issues

Over the ocean a girl throws her fist into the air
Just one fist in the crowds of well over a thousand
All in unison chanting to bring down the European Union
And to keep their lives out of the hands of corrupter greed
But deep down she knows she is lost in a crowd
Never to matter anyone in the lonely planet we named earth

And on the other side of it in New Zealand a women wakes up
Having spent a night at the clubs and in a bed with some nice fellow
    Knowing she’s just some tail
And if he even ever asked her name
Or if he’ll ever call her for a minute to sip some hot tea
    And talk about the world
    All the ups
    And all the downs
