Even if I'd screamed,
Would they have even heard?
I am hiding inside myself,
Behind a mask I'm shy,
Do you know how hard it is,
To give a smile that's a lie?
So next time you see me,
And decide to shout,
Please spare a thought,
For that girl,
The one who can't get out.

This is a very sweet poem. It's not "spectacular", but it's honest and sometimes that's all you need to be good. The only line that is truly off is "I'm shy," which doesn't seem to be long enough to fit the meter. Other than that, it's a nice job.
