• T'was the Night before Christmas,
    A clear starry Night,
The streets were filled with Joyous bright lights,
but to every person on that street's dismay
there's one house on that street that act like it's May.

In this house was a dad, a mom and a boy,
but oddly they did not get that great Christmas joy,
    the boy tells his father,
"Santa is real! Don't you ever get that uplifting feel?"
The dad replies "Nonsense!" with a voice full of spite
"you won't ever see him if you stayed up all night!"

The boy turns around and shakes his small head,
he climbed up the stairs with his heart full of lead,
he went on his bed and turned off the lights,
and with all of his heart he hoped in the night,
that Santa would make a loud sound on the roof
and he'd hear the clopping of the reindeer's black hoofs

His eyes almost closed as he laid on his bed,
but quickly sat up when heard a thump above his head,
the boy ran downstairs to catch Santa at his tree,
but felt a lump in his throat because there was nothing to see,
so the boy went upstairs with his eyes full of tears,
so sad that he thought that the truth was so near,

The cloudy next morning when the sad boy woked up,
he went back down stairs to check on his luck,
he looked at the table and his heart jolted up,
The cookies were gone and so was the milk!
He yelped with great joy with his heart light as silk,
the happy young boy checked under the tree,
but frowned that there were no Christmas presents to see
    ,

he sighed deeply and heavily as heput his hand in his pocket,
his heart jolted again just like a sky rocket,
he pulled out his hand to check what he had,
and right there at that moment he was no longer sad,
in his hand was a elegant red box,
his heart beating deaply more stronger than a ox,
he opened the box so ever so curious,
and there in the box there was something so glorius,

It was a snow globe more elegant than a swan,
and he knew it was magic, the boy wasn't wrong,
around there was santa going around in his sleigh,
his reindeers were pulling it around and away,
all over the work house which made the boy's day. but
the happy young boy turned around to see his dad,
which was something the boy thought that wasn't quite rad

The dad frowned at the boy and asked with a voice so rough,
"What are you doing at this time of day?
If you're checking for presents then prepare to be dismayed!"
The boy just looked up at his father with a brighting smile,
"No need to fuss dad, the truth bet you by a mile,"
He took out his hands with such a pride
That the proudest person would decided to hide,
there in his hands was the magical gift,
"Santa's real.." said the wise youngboy.
