• Singed on the outside, raw on the in,
The barrier of my heart is filled with sin.
Inclosed in the outer layer, I'm nothing new,
It's incorrect when they say, "Her inside shines through".
A common factor which contributes to today's society,
Who cares? I'm still the same person I was even with my sobriety.
I want to amount to something, to be remembered for the future generations,
With these greedy people I'll never surpass their eliminations.
However, I've learned to love my mistakes, they make me who I am.
I'll reassure you I'm going to leave this world with a bam.
Don't assume who I am, or what I am, based on my outside,
Please just take the time to appreciate what I may abide.
Black on the outside, Pure on the in.
Are you mature enough to look within?
