She left me behind, laughing,
Grinning,
And shunning.
Spring is all for her own fun
But fun in anyones mind besides her own
Hadn't begun.
Spring had told me of her life,
Tickling me pink with her words.
They cut my core in half like a knife
And her friends took the halves like animals of a herd.
"All we do is dance, my friend!
The world around us is for the ones who don't see.
So please, a hand let me lend
To see my side of the story."
Her laughter crawled down my spine
As she showed my her acquaintance,
Beautiful and devine.
His hair was the shade of honey,
From the flowers that had blossomed.
And the eyes the shade of buds,
And all of it was for me.
He whisked me away for a night,
Stealing me from my friends.
But all it took was the one time
For my life to start all over again.
Now my life is made of false joy.
Dancing, laughing, and dying.
Oh boy.
