• The wind was blowing everywhere
    My heart, pounding with fear
I get into my harness and snap on the helmet
    Take the first step up
    Climbing up rock by rock
    I feel my stomach drop
    Sweat pouring down my face
Even though the wind chills me to the bone
    Struggling with effort
    I climb to the top
Pull myself up and look down
    My stomach drops again
    The wind is screaming now
I try not to be afraid
But my fear of heights kicks in
I repel down, scared every inch I drop
I make it down, my legs like jelly
Wobbling and shaking like a baby deer
    I can't stand up straight
I pull myself up and walk around
Still sweating even though the temperature has gone down
A huge grin on my face
I have defeated the stone monster
Which I couldn't conquer last year
