• Showing up in bright white
The sun is setting upon me
Be aware that it may be a prom night
Allow me to shine a rose for everyone to see.

    Masquerade shall I always be
Happy that I am, it is for me
Walking through gardens, even though dateless
And march through blown flower petals filled with gladness.

    Keeping the mask on
    As glittery as it seems
    Keeping the Zorro cape worn
    As bright as it redeems.

    As I once dreamed of
The snow that falls so great
Walking with the best night around me
    The clock has struck eight

The streaming wind that glides before leaves
The glittering night that dazzles from above
The grass that feels soft beneath my feet
And the lady in red with the masquerade in love.

The second aspect of the day
The fireworks that make a prom so bright
The cape that matches the color of snow
And the rose that shines well even without light

    One single man
    One lady in red
    Of all that was told
She has found the right masquerade, enough said

    Drawn to a nightly ball
The violin tunes that travel before they unwind
The bass that creates the melody so blue
All you see would be the flower petals being blown from behind.

The rose that conceals in the dark
    A petal will soon descend
Even with the whole rose gone
Another shall soon emerge and ascend

    Fancy me, the masquerade
The beautiful lady in red, shining in the full moon
The masked and the maskless, we shall soon unfold
And may one step forward and take their mate's hands in tune.
