You've lost your luster, You've lost your shine, Your not the one i remember seeing in my eyes, You don't sparkle nor shimmer, You were my delicate toy, I tried to keep you safe, But your glass edges cut me deep when i lost you, You were out in the world and have many memories of our past, You get dirtier everyday, I've tried to save you many times but you kept cutting me, Now im sitting here watching you die slowly, I find it funny how we used to keep each other alive, But now we are alone, Here i strive, You have done stupid things to dirty your old shine, But here i glisten still alive, Dusty but fine, You look back at me and think yourself lucky, Yet still you hate yourself, You find new owners to try and buff out the marks, They just make it worse, Here i sit unaffected by others work.

ya i pretty much have the same questions as lordstar does. i think he's cut because he's not quite over it and maybe he's glistening because he finds himself able to move on and isnt stuck mopping about the ended relationship? and maybe he's dusty because of the memories he will always remember. i dont know just a guess.l i would like to know the answers to those riddles ^-^

delicate toy -> getting cut after loosing. Seems a bit disconected. If your ex was lost how exactly did you get cut? Glisten but dusty? The last two lines are great.
