Out of reach (against reality)

• Description: This is the first part of a song that I wrote some time ago (if you really want to ask, yes, when I was in math class...what can I do? I hate math...)

Let time stop
And do what it pleases
We are merely powerfull enough
To go against it

We are just normal people
Who have a wish they want to fulfill
Who have unrealistic desires
Who have unusual dreams

So just this once do something unusual
Go against reality
Break the rules
And become free

One by one the seconds pass
You have to hurry up or you’ll miss this chance
One by one my tears fall
Each of them have no meaning at all
Little by little my heart fades away
Leaving no trace, not to be found
Little by little my memories dissapear
Just to try let me live without fear

There was nothing I could do
Simply no way to stop this
All I wanted was you
But I guess now I just lost it

It’s all clear to me now
I know what path I must take
Unless all reality has become fake

Well...... The first three paragraphs talks about freedom... The next two... I interperted as love... Then the last paragraph talks about heading yourself into the unpredictable and no way to stop it.

Personally, I see this as more of a poem instead of a song. As a poem... 4/5... As a song... 2/5
