I would you wouldn’t regard me so,
With your lofty gaze and high-bourn indifference
That so solemnly shadows the Earth.
You are the emblem of fickleness,
Yet your captive I remain.
The others merely use you;
I adore the subtleties
Your glow,
Your spirit,
Yet my admiration you take for granted.
I shriek my affection as if to open space!
The grassy plains absorb my doleful cries
As swirls of magnificent smoky cloud
Pass me decidedly by.
