When I think of you, I smile, then start to cry.
I'm sorry that our friendship just had to say goodbye.
You were the greatest friend I ever had and will ever be.
At least... that's what you were to me.
You may not think so, but these words are true.
Maybe it wasn't as great for me as it was for you.
My days of laughter have come to end.
Along with our time together, you as my best friend.
A boy just had to come between us, and it wasn't a big deal.
Even if not my boyfriend, you he did steal.
I hated watching you two.
Breaking up with him was all I could do.
My suspicions were confirmed that day.
When he snatched you right away.
My precious memories now rotten.
Now only few, small friends are all I have gotten.

- Title: An Old Best Friend
- Artist: Gin Raikou
- Description: A poem I had written in the year of 2011 when a best friend I had for five years flirted alot with my boyfriend. Because of this I broke up with him and they got together right away. It wasn't the loss of him that upset me but now she doesn't even look at her friends through pure obbsession with him and the loss of her is what inspired me to write.
