In a far off land,
across the sea,
there is a place,
for you and me,
where it is safe and where its warm,
where laughter rings though out the trees
where the rivers sing, sweet melodies,
and u can dance and you can sing
where you are free
to be yourself and I'll be me
You are loved and cherished so
I hope you see.
I hope you know
If danger ever draws near
may you only come here
where your dreams come to life
where you escape from all strife
where willows whisper sweet words
and crickets sing to match your stride
where the wind will be your ever guide
hear the mountains bellow
to draw you as a friendly fellow
they hope you know
your not a foe
grow your wings and set them free
your happiness is the key

Description:
Recently my older sister had her little baby Jack. I was thinking about how i used to sing to all my neices and nephews when they were babies. But i never had some little special lullaby just for us. I wrote this in honor of Samantha, Jack,Caleb, and Sophia.
Its not really finished and the melody needs some work, but it worked to sing the baby to sleep. - Date: 04/21/2012
