The Enemy Inside

• Description: I wrote this when I was feeling kinda depressed a while ago due to some issues and while I was still into writing a lot. I haven't much tried poetry before, but after reading this again I decided to see what you all think.

Crying in silence,
hoping no one sees
I'm screaming as loud as I can,
come and find me

Knocks at my wall
imploring "tear no more"
I want to let them in,
but I can't find the door

I scream over the wall,
"help me please"
only to be drowned out
by a waterfall

I found the key,
but woe is me
The courage I lack,
to fight the enemy

I need help again,
this rerun circles in my head
please come and fine me,
my worst enemy.
