• Through the darkest itinerary
    Guided only by faith
    The sky never bright
    Proscribed by night
To this world I came truly
From the river Thule most unruly
Surely I came from this place
Out of TIME; out of SPACE

I woke in my bed, but not the same one
The one from another time long gone
Before I opened my eyes to see
I wondered where it was I should be
No recollection of the world from
I looked and saw whence I'd come
The house, a perfect relic intact
Nothing too familiar about the back
The grass there grew, but much too far
And I did not recognize the broken down car
Around the front was much the same
A neighborhood with a dark and dreary frame

House beyond house; street beyond street
A place most normal, but a world discrete
No human walked, but in their place
    THINGS
With human faces they watched me
For human to be human should be
    Undeniably a simple task
Twas only an instant; spotted so fast
Pursued by a head ghastly and thorny
    A burnt face airborne
I myself hovered away, but not as quick
With each defense, the head gave a bite or p***k
Seen by a woman walking by, but
    Not a woman
    A THING inside
With short quick stride and a strange stance
As if new to her legs, and their hobbled dance
    She too pursued
Both quick and difficult to elude

I learn with haste to control my flight
    But in one direction
    Soared up into the night
    The world's lights coruscated
    On the dark river elated
With out a doubt, the river Thule
That brought me to face the daemon and ghoul

    Through the darkest itinerary
    Guided only by faith
    The sky never bright
    Proscribed by night
From this world I came truly
From the river Thule most unruly
Surely I came out from this place
    Back into my own TIME
    My own SPACE
