“ Eclipse “

you are the sun, I am the moon
the daylight to my evening sky
we complete each other... we are the day
with time that goes beyond promised
Through it all we change, we grow
one day we will intertwine
the sun and the moon, the day and the night
one day there will be an eclipse in our lives

It kind of reminds me of this song from Miss Saigon that kind of has the same sentiment as this one. It might help if you explained less about the meaning of sun and moon with this poem and concentrated on the imagery more.
