• Self loathing,

The grand crack in the carapace of the soul,

Rending great chasms between them and them others.

So you watch as you separate,

    A mirror image,

    Forming a despicable parallel other.

    Hate distorts perception

    And you lash out,

The image before you shatters into brittle shards.

Blood runs mercury across the silver surface.

Still, the image watches from beyond,

    Your eyes inverted.
