Memories seem to freeze
Locked away forever
We tend to forget to think
Back on dates and lives that lived
We do not forget,
but also not actively remember.
We do not repay what is owed
because we do not recall the gift.
And then, it is too late.
The life leaves, flees
to the land we may not enter now.
A look upon a face again,
I remember.
You deserved my memory.
You deserved my thanks.
Wait for me there,
in the Land of the Dead.
I will repay you someday.
Please forgive my ignorance.
The child has grown,
and will honor his debts.
He will not forget again.

- Title: For Jimmy
- Artist: TechnicalAo
- Description: My mother's friend Jimmy, who was always a great guy to me when I was a kid, passed away. I am unsure when, because I am away from home, but the wake was yesterday, funeral today, and I cannot attend either so, Jimmy? I wrote this for you. You were a great guy, kept me from being bored and made me laugh. I never got the chance to thank you and tell you so many things. I remember you. You're in my memories, and I WILL thank you when I join you one day.
